Meanwhile, Hiroshi Yanagisawa was blindingly quick in his brand new Subaru, only a leg 1 puncture slowing him down.

Update: Due to a misunderstanding on my part, I had incorrectly calculated championship points for Rally New Caledonia. That meant some of the comments made during this podcast regarding competitors points were wrong, and for that I apologise. The championship table shown on the web site has now been updated, and a full breakdown on the points table can be found on the official FIA Asia-Pacific Rally Championship web site.
