APRC Live is the audio podcast of the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship, and is available as a free MP3 download.

If you don’t know what a podcast is, it’s like internet radio that you can download to your computer, iPod or MP3 player.

APRC Live is a great way to keep in touch with all the rally action from the Asia-Pacific Rally Championship. Each show is available here on the APRC Live web site, free of charge, and comes out within a day or two of each event. APRC Live features news and results from each event of the APRC series, and includes interviews with all the drivers. So you get to hear it ‘straight from the horses mouth’.

APRC Live can be played on most computers, or an MP3 player (for example, an Apple iPod). However, you don’t need an iPod to listen to the show. In fact, there’s a number of ways to listen to the show.

First of all, you can listen to the show directly from the web site.

There’s a podcast player right on the web site; just select the show you wish to play, click the play button, then sit back and listen!

But what if you want to take the show with you, and listen to it on your MP3 player? Well, there’s a few options.

If you want to save the show to your computer, and then move it to your MP3 player, you do this by right-clicking the ‘Play Now’ graphic, and saving the file.

And while manually saving each APRC Live to your computer is OK, there’s an even easier way to get the show. By subscribing.

When you subscribe to APRC Live, each episode is downloaded to your computer automatically as soon as it comes out. (But please don’t confuse the term ‘subscribing’ with a fee-paying service; APRC Live is always free of charge, no matter how you choose to obtain it.

Many people who listen to podcasts also use Apple iTunes. If you’re one of those people, iTunes can download APRC Live for you. Just click the purple iTunes button on the web site, and iTunes will open at the APRC Live page within the iTunes music store. Then just click the Subscribe button. The next time you open iTunes, it checks for a new episodes of APRC Live, and automatically downloads them for you.

If you don’t use iTunes, then a freeware ‘podcatcher’ program (like Juice, which is available for Windows, Mac and Linux) can automatically download APRC Live for you. With Juice running on your PC, just open it and from the APRC Live web site and drag the orange RSS feed icon into Juice. From then on, Juice will download the show for you.

And finally, if you’d like to receive an email when new content is available from APRC Live, just type your email address in the box below and click ‘Subscribe by Email’.

So with all these options, it couldn’t be easier to stay up-to-date will all the APRC action.
